More Than Hope. We Deliver Strategy

Our four-pillar approach to breaking the cycle of poverty in Wakiso: Education, Health, Skilling, and Sports.

The Exit Strategy

We believe education is the only permanent exit strategy from poverty. We don't just pay fees; we ensure learning happens.

  • Scholastic Support: Distributing premium kits (backpacks, math sets) to 100+ at-risk students annually.

  • The Learning Center: Operating temporary learning halls for homework support and digital literacy.

  • Girl Child Defense: Dignity Kits (pads/soap) to keep teenage girls in school.

The Hustle Accelerator

A handout lasts a day. A business skill lasts a lifetime. We turn the natural entrepreneurial spirit of Wakiso into sustainable income.

  • Vocational Training: Practical workshops in tailoring, soap making, and urban farming for women and youth.

  • Business Mentorship: Teaching bookkeeping and digital marketing to Bwaise & Kawaala market vendors.

  • Seed Capital: Providing starter tools (machines, raw materials) to program graduates.

Community Health (WASH)

You cannot build a future if you are sick today. We fight the environmental hazards that threaten our community.

  • Disease Prevention: Monthly trench cleaning and water-tap sanitization in flood-prone zones.

  • Mental Health: Trauma-informed counseling and “Safe Spaces” for youth facing anxiety and depression.

  • Emergency Response: Rapid relief (food/shelter) during seasonal floods.

The Discipline of Sport

Football is our hook. We use sport to engage 'idle' youth, teaching them discipline, teamwork, and conflict resolution.

  • Fecane Football Academy: Professional coaching for 50+ youth (Under-13 to Under-17).

  • Tournaments: Hosting major community events (like the Old Kampala Stadium Cup) to build community pride.

  • Behavior Change: Mentoring at-risk youth away from crime and drugs through physical activity.

The Future Home of Our Programs

Currently, these life-changing programs operate out of rented halls and open fields. Our Vision 2030 is to build the permanent Fecane Community Learning Center—a purpose-built hub that will house a library, a clinic, and a vocational workshop under one roof
