One of our Training Sessions

Our team of dedicated coaches worked tirelessly to organize regular football trainings and friendly matches within Bwaise and Kampala, providing a safe space for children and teenagers to play sports and learn valuable life skills. Not only did we focus on developing their football skills, but we also placed equal emphasis on promoting values such as teamwork, discipline, respect, and leadership. We believe that instilling these principles at a young age will have a positive impact on their personal development and future potential. And we hope to do more through seeking partnerships with local schools and community organizations, and being able to reach out to even more young people who may not have had access to these opportunities otherwise.

What Football means in Bwaise Slums

In the impoverished areas of the world, football holds a special place in people’s hearts. It is not just a simple game, but rather a way of life and an embodiment of the unbreakable human spirit. Despite facing countless challenges and struggles on a daily basis, these communities continue to come together through their love for this sport. For many living in slum conditions, football offers an escape from their harsh reality. It brings joy and excitement into their lives amidst the constant struggle for survival.

Our Field

With heavy hearts, we bid adieu to the football field that had been our home for so long. As much as we wished it could have lasted forever, we understand that all good things must come to an end. While we may not be able to stop this separation, what is certain is that the moments spent on this hallowed ground will stay with us for eternity. Whether in victory or defeat, the players who have graced these fields alongside us will always hold a special place in our memories and hearts. Gratitude overflows from within as we offer thanks to Almighty God for allowing us such cherished experiences on this irreplaceable pitch.

Resumed Our Training session

It was great news! After a temporary hiatus, we thrilled that our football training sessions were back in action. We apologized for any inconvenience caused by the field takeover over the past 14 days. However, thanks to some quick thinking and resourcefulness, we secured an alternate location where we can continue our practices uninterrupted. It is important now more than ever to make the most of this opportunity and give it our all during training. With upcoming football activities on the horizon, let’s show up with determination and dedication as we work towards getting back into shape. Let’s prove ourselves once again and come out stronger as a team after this brief pause. See you all at practice!

Sure, the full-wide image can be pretty big. But sometimes the image is worth it.

A friendly match

On a sunny Sunday afternoon, our team took on Young Boys Football Club in an eagerly anticipated friendly match at Old Kampala Primary School. As we walked onto the pitch, I could feel the energy and excitement radiating from both teams. From the first whistle, it was clear that this game would be intense and fiercely competitive. . Our opponents were known for their physicality and speed, but we were determined to show them what we were made of. The first half saw non-stop action as both teams fought tooth and nail for possession. With only seconds left on the clock, victory was within reach! When the referee blew his whistle signaling full time, there was no containing our joy. We had not only beaten out arch-rivals in an exhilarating game but also showcased great progress since last season thanks to hard work put in by each player leading up to this momentous match. Our friendly against Young Boys proved to be much more than just a football game; it served as an invaluable opportunity for us to gauge how far we’ve come as a team. And with our passion and determination, there’s no doubt that we’ll continue to face any challenge head-on and emerge victorious.

Football is like life. It demands perseverance, self-denial, hard work, sacrifice and dedication. At our organization, we aim to instil these valuable qualities in vulnerable children and youth through the love of football. Our hope is that they will grow up understanding the value of respect for authority and using it to achieve their dreams. With such bright minds at our disposal, the sky truly is the limit.” Let’s continue shaping a better future together.

Thanks You All!
